About our Club
Our Next Meeting

The Kiwanis Club of Mount Washington Valley began in 1975 when twenty valley residents decided there was a need for another service club in the region. Today we are over 65 members and still growing. Three of our founding members remain active. Our local club mission statement reads:

The mission of the Kiwanis Club of Mount Washington Valley is to make our community a better place in which to live by engaging adult and youth volunteers to support community service projects with an emphasis on the needs of our children.

Club members work primarily for the benefit of our local community, but also contribute to regional Kiwanis projects like the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute in Boston and the world wide service project to eliminate IDD  (Iodine Deficiency Disorder), the world’s leading preventable cause of mental retardation.   Click on the menu at the left to see how our work benefits the valley.

The Passport Book to Entertainment is on the streets!
Sold by the Kiwanis Club of Mount Washington Valley (MWV).

This year’s book, valid from June 1, 2012 to May 31, 2013, contains 120 coupons, 16 of which are brand new.  Of the coupons, 8 are for Golf; 12 for Winter Sports; 23 for Activities; 15 for Retail; 45 for Restaurants, Fast Foods  & Delis; 7 for Pizzerias and 10 for Sweet & Bakery Shops.  The North Conway Country Club, Attitash Bear Peak and Wildcat Ski & Summer Resorts, Conway Scenic Railroad, Eastern Mountain Sports, Kahuna Laguna Water Park, Storyland, Northern Extremes, Dutch Bloemen Winkel Flower Shop and Sound Resort Audio & Video offer some of the more valued coupons.  There are too many wonderful eating establishments to list them all here.

The best part of purchasing the Passport Book to Entertainment for just $41 (includes shipping and handling) is your contribution to the wellbeing of children in the Valley.  By buying this book, the Kiwanis Club of MWV can provide local graduating high school students with $8,000 in scholarship awards; sponsor two little league baseball teams; fund preventative and catastrophic dental care; donate time and funds to Child Safety events, literacy programs, Children Unlimited (a special needs child service agency) and the MWV Children’s Museum (an interactive learning/play experience for children) and 23 other children programs.  Further afield, the club donates to Camp Sunshine in Maine for children with life-threatening illnesses, the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute in Boston and the Kiwanis International Elimination of Maternal/Neonatal Tetanus Program.

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to purchase
$1,500 worth of coupons for only $39

Something that costs so little and serves so many!
