Our Club Schedule
Guests are always welcome at our meetings. We are currently meeting at two different restaurants.
The first Wednesday of the month is at the Red Fox on Route 16 in Jackson. You can order off the menu.
The third Wednesday of the month is at the Lobster Trap Restaurant, 2840 West Side Road, North Conway, NH. Meetings start at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. There are three menu options including a vegetarian selection and the $20 includes dessert and coffee.
Meetings may feature a speaker from business and finance, health and human services, education, government, sports or other valley non-profits.
Board meetings occur via Zoom the fourth Wednesday of the month from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Members are always welcome at board meetings.
Business and Board Meeting
We will meet at the Abenaki Pub. Social time starts at 5 p.m. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by a board meeting.
Photos with Santa
Help the club by being a cashier, photographer, photo printer, or host at our store location to take photos of children, families and often groups of happy adults doing their holiday shopping. We are in the old Brookstone store in Settlers Green. This is Locals Night.
Speaker Cheryl Furtado – What is a Gap Year?
Kennett High School counselor Cheryl Furtado will explain what a gap year is to members and how college admissions personnel look at students taking a year off between high school and college. Move In for Photos with Santa
We will move items needed for Photos with Santa project from TD Bank in Conway to our Settlers Green location.
Kiwanis/Habitat Autumn Express Train Ride
Be part of the crew to host travelers on the train bound for Crawford Notch during foliage season.
Dot Seybold on the Vaughn Center
We meet at the Eagle Mountain House. Social time is 5:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6 p.m. Our guest speaker is Dot Seybold, Chair of the Board of Directors at the Vaughn Center. She will share news about what is happening with that program/building.
Safety Training Meeting
We will hear about safety training for Kiwanis family events. Social time begins at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting begins at 6 p.m.
Speaker Art Mathisen, President Memorial Hospital
Art Mathisen will talk about his new position at the hospital and the events and changes expected. We meet at the Eagle Mountain House. Social time is 5:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6 p.m.
Gift Bag Distribution at Settlers Green
Club members help Settlers Green management give out thousands of gift bags to holiday shoppers. Settlers Green is very supportive of our club offering us free space for our Photos with Santa and Angels and Elves projects.
